Culture As organisations develop,
along with that development grows the “culture” of the company. Culture
can be best described as the shared beliefs of the majority of employees.
As these are beliefs, then it follows that they may not reflect either
the “official” view or they may be out of line with the direction the
company wishes to follow as part of its strategic plan. Left unchecked
the culture will develop on its own and could work against the very things
that are necessary for the company to be successful. The opposite side
of the coin shows that when culture is in full alignment with company
strategy, then maximum results can be expected from the staff.
The only way to establish the views of your employees is to ask them.
