Corporate Culture
As organisations develop, along with that development grows the “culture” of the company. Culture can be best described as the shared beliefs of the majority of employees.
As these are beliefs, then it follows that they may not reflect either the “official” view or they may be out of line with the direction the company wishes to follow as part of its strategic plan. Left unchecked the culture will develop on its own and could work against the very things that are necessary for the company to be successful. The opposite side of the coin shows that when culture is in full alignment with company strategy, then maximum results can be expected from the staff.
The only way to establish the views of your employees is to ask them.
