Case study 5 – Large supply company UK – Improve unit costs

REQUIREMENT To design and later implement a radical manpower change in the company to reduce staff numbers by 20%
METHODOLOGY Using manpower forecasting methods and projecting productivity growth, we were able to reduce the number employed form 6500 to 4500 and increase productivity by the required amount. Key tools used Manpower predictive forecasting and rightsizing. Supportive training was designed and provided.
